Cloud Architect | DevSecOps Engineer | Platform Engineering

I'm Jayakumar S, a cloud and DevSecOps engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience designing, securing, and automating enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.

What I Do

I help organisations:

  • Design multi-cloud architectures that are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient
  • Embed security into pipelines using DevSecOps and shift-left principles
  • Build internal developer platforms that accelerate deployment velocity
  • Implement zero-trust security across Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud infrastructure
  • Transform manual operations into automated, reliable CI/CD pipelines

My Journey

Starting with a degree in electrical & electronics, I transitioned into cloud engineering because I saw an opportunity to bridge infrastructure and security. Over the past 4 years, I've worked with enterprise clients like Mahindra Group, HDFC Securities, and CRISIL on some of India's most complex cloud and security challenges.

What started as learning Kubernetes has evolved into deep expertise in:

  • Multi-cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Cloud security posture management (CSPM) with Prisma Cloud
  • Service mesh security (Cilium, Calico, Istio)
  • API gateway platforms (Apigee Hybrid, Kong)
  • Enterprise observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk)

Current Focus

Today, I'm passionate about platform engineering — helping teams reduce cognitive load and accelerate delivery through well-designed internal developer platforms.
